Acceptable use
Framekit is for making videos you are proud to post. These rules apply to everything you upload, type or make here, including AI generations from your photos.
The upload promise. Before you use a photo or video, you confirm that you took it or have the right to use it, that everyone in it has agreed, and that it follows the rules below.
Not allowed
- Nudity or sexual content, including suggestive edits of real people.
- Children and teenagers in person-changing effects (body, face, age, hug and similar). Children may appear in scene effects such as a portal or a time-lapse, with a parent's or guardian's permission.
- Someone else's face without their permission, and any real public figure, celebrity or politician.
- Deception and fraud: fake news, fake endorsements, scams, or videos meant to make people believe something false about a real person.
- Harm: graphic violence, gore, self-harm, weapons aimed at people, illegal drugs, hate symbols, harassment or bullying.
- Anything illegal where you live or where it will be shown, and anything that breaks the rules of the app you post to.
How we check
- The browser editor runs on your device. Your clip is not uploaded and we cannot see it, so these rules are your promise.
- For AI generations, your photo and words are checked automatically before anything is made. If a check fails, or cannot run, nothing is generated and no credits are used.
- The AI providers we use run their own safety checks as well.
- Refused uploads are noted on your account (never the photo itself). Several in a short time pause AI generation for that account.
- We keep uploaded photos only as long as a generation needs them, then delete them. Finished clips are deleted after 7 days.
